UNICEF has a mission to ensure that each country respects and upholds the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
UNICEF helps children over the world to overcome poverty, disease, violence and discrimination. Millions of children are going to school due to support from UNICEF. Countless children are vaccinated against deadly diseases such as measles en get the right food to make them grow.
UNICEF endeavours to stop the aids epidemy and supports children who have fallen victom to aids. Where emergencies arise, UNICEF will be among the first to come to their aid to help the people survive.
In places where children are left alone, UNICEF offers protection against violence, abuse and exploitation.

UNICEF is active in 190 countries. In industrialised countries we have National Committees such as ours. We raise funds and support to assist UNICEF International to implement their development programmes.
